Here at Worthen Furniture, we hold a great appreciation for engineering methods and craft working techniques of the past -- especially the simplicity and ingenuity of vintage bed joint systems. A century old technique, Worthen Furniture utilizes a friction-fit dovetail joint frame system, which effectively eliminates the need for screws, nuts, and bolts. The Worthen dovetail system is not only sturdy and durable -- it's also incredibly easy to assemble. A simple slide and a tap of a hammer will have the bed upright in just a couple of minutes.

Shortly after you place your order, we will send you our target date for shipment. Each bed and furniture item is put into production immediately after it is ordered, but we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for our artisans to build your bed, plus the shipping time for curbside or white glove delivery. During peak seasons, please allow some margin for potential material delays, artisan workload fluctuations, or freight delays, such as around holidays. Either way, we will keep you posted on our progress.
